Minneapolis, MN — Celebrating Women’s History Month, the annual Leading Ladies of Americana showcase returns Friday, March 20, 2026, bringing together five Twin Cities–based artists and their bands for an evening of bold songwriting, genre-crossing sound, and women-led artistry. Hosted at The Cabooze, the showcase highlights the depth and diversity of Americana music as shaped by women working at the top of their craft.
Now an established yearly event, Leading Ladies of Americana is a curated showcase spotlighting different artists whose work lives under the broad Americana umbrella. The 2026 lineup reflects that range, with performers drawing from indie-rock, bluegrass, folk-pop, country, soul, and roots traditions, all grounded in strong songwriting and live performance.
The 2026 bill features Laura Hugo, Mother Banjo, Haley E Rydell, Katy Tessman, and Emmy Woods, all Twin Cities–based artists, each performing with their own band and musical vision.
